Greetings, I'm Jo.
I devote myself to trauma-informed Gita style of Hatha yoga teaching, meditation, mindfulness, and massage therapy. Each day, I navigate the complexities of thoughts, mood fluctuations, and different emotional states, finding solace and tranquility through my dedicated practices.
My introduction to yoga was a profound experience facilitated by a cherished family member who had completed Gita yoga teacher training. In the midst of the stress surrounding final high school exams, I found myself caught in the relentless cycle of overwhelming pressure. That same family member, recognising a familiar stress response during my nursing exams a few years later, courageously approached me.
"Too busy, too stressed, no time."
When the my life settled (briefly), I embarked on a beginners' yoga course in Gita. The experience left me awe-inspired, as it bestowed upon me a profound sense of ease, calm, and peace—unexpectedly leading me back to a familiar place, myself.
Over the subsequent years, my journey with yoga evolved. In my 20s, I became a yoga teacher, following the Sivanada tradition. Two decades later, I returned to Gita International to complete the 900-hour Gold diploma in Hatha Yoga.
Beyond sharing the art of yoga, I extend my knowledge to mindfulness and meditation, organising retreats to foster well-being.
I share this with sincerity: Do not delay in embracing ease and flow in your life, as I once did.
I invite you to join me on this profoundly transformative journey.
Jo
